Gozmann imagines perfumes that do not try to convince. They suggest, they leave room, they reveal themselves slowly.
Philosophy
We believe in a perfumery of restraint: few notes, precise accords, a signature you recognise without it imposing itself.
Each fragrance starts from an image — a bare room, a sun-warmed stone, winter light — which we translate into olfactive balances.
The creative process
The intention
A word, an atmosphere, a scene. Everything begins with what the perfume should evoke.
The sketch
The first accords are laid down, compared, rewritten. Many are abandoned.
The test of time
A fragrance is judged over time: on opening, an hour later, the next day.
The distillation
We remove what is superfluous until the composition breathes.
The art of composition
A fragrance reads in three movements: top notes, which open; heart notes, which give character; base notes, which extend the trail. The perfumer's work is to make these three movements speak to each other.
